I have just returned to Finland from a great couple of weeks in the U.S. Along the way I had the American launch of Green & Blue: Irish Americans in the Union Military, 1861-1865 at NYU’s Glucksman Ireland House, where I discussed some of the major themes and findings of the book for their annual Ernie O’Malley Lecture.
